Some of you may know from my About Me section 

that I am an English Major,

and of course this means I LOVELOVELOVE books.

We have countless books in our household. 

It may be an illness of book hoarding. 

I just have to own a book after I read it.

It is also super difficult for me to part with them.

I almost feel like they are snapshots of what I was going through in life at the time that I read each book.

So, of course, I want my boys to love to read too.

I am also sure that you too have children I am overjoyed, ecstatic, ridiculously excited to share's my friend Amy with you and her book.

who are lovers of the written word.

Well, what better way to cultivate this love than through a book that also teaches about God and has vibrant illustrations.

{Christ is King} Framed Art and a Winner

Let this Christ, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

I just love living my life knowing that Christ died for my sins.

This is what inspired this giveaway series.

Okay, so I loved the design
that I came up with for the shirts so much

that I decided to make some framed art for my living room.

I love the use of negative space in these designs.

What do you think?

What I did:

1. I cut paper to fit frames.

2. I use my Cricut and the Indie Art Cartridge to cut designs

out of freezer paper.

3. Ironed the freezer paper positives to each rectangle.

4. Using a paint brush and some blue paint I painted over the images,

creating painted rectangles.

5. I removed the freezer paper while still wet.

6. Let dry. Frame when dry.
