I have been blessed by God with an amazing husband who loves me dearly. We have shared our love since October of 1998, and we were married in April of 2003. In July 2008 our first son was born, followed this past July by our second son. BOYS ROCK!!!

WHERE IS SHE NOW?:
I have the great fortune of staying home with my boys at present. It is such a joy to hang out with them daily. I can't imagine it any other way.
I was previously a high school English teacher, specializing in American Literature. I resigned when D was born. Last June I completed my Masters in English, and I would love to find an adjunct (part-time) professorship at one of the nearby junior colleges in order to supplement our income while remaining home, for the most part at least. In the mean time, I am a test rater for ETS. I am so excited for this new job and the opportunities that it holds.
When all of this isn't going on, or rather in the midst of it, I craft. I LOVE to scrapbook, as I love to take pictures and I want them to be well preserved. I have many other crafty hobbies too (see list that follows).
Finally, I love to be around people and to interact. I am a chatter, often to my detriment (working on that). I wear my thoughts and emotions on my sleeves. I am pretty much an open book.
I have many quirks; we all do. I hate cardboard and dry paper. Ick! I am a picky eater. I have been interested in vampire lore my entire life; who knows why? I really wish I was from the forties or some other romanticized era. I don't drink, smoke, or anything else yucky! I high school they called me the poster girl for purity. And at the end of the day I just want to lay down with my poodles, a cup of coffee or water, and read a super great book (but not non-fiction).
FAITH:
I am ecstatic to know my Lord and Savior, and I am proud that I have a Godly husband who loves Him too. We attend an amazing local church called High Desert Church (HDC). We've attended this church since 2006 when we moved to the HIgh Desert. My aunt and uncle attended this church from 1984 until they moved in 2008, so it only seemed natural that we would join them in attendance, and what a wonderful choice it has been.
I am a table leader for a women's study entitled SMILES (Satisfied Mothers in Life's Every Situation). I love my role, and pray that God uses me as a mentor to help change my world for Christ. I also pray that he uses those I interact with through this ministry to refine me for His kingdom.
