SHUTTERFLY 50 free Photo Cards

I absolutely adore Shutterfly products. Whenever my family has a professional photo shoot I love to put together photobooks of these exceptional shots.

A great, miniature, mailable way to get the same effect and share it with your family for the holiday season are the new photo story cards. This is especially wonderful for those of you who already write a Christmas letter to your family each year. These new cards allow you to have the Christmas letter experience in a creative way, highlighting your MOST important events.

Finally, I LOVELOVELOVE that Shutterfly always has great deals and prices. For instance, this 50 free photo card deal for bloggers. What a wonderful way to save some money on your photocards, because if you're like me you need far more than 50. I was sooooo excited about this deal because I'd already created my card but was waiting for some finances to be available. God's time is wonderful, ALWAYS!!! The card above is the style that I've chosen this year. I adore that it fits so many photos. I promise to share mine later in the week.

Our card also comes in red and 5x7

In addition to all of these cute options for sending warm holiday wishes, they can also be your one stop place to shop. You could purchase a beautiful canvas for the grandparents or create a family calendar. Both would make delightful gifts.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to return to Shutterfly after the holidays to pick up some Thank You cards for those extra special gifts that you received.

Black Friday Love

Okay, so who doesn't love an amazing deal? I rarely pay full price for anything I purchase; I just CAN'T do it. I love having nice things, but I love great prices even more. This being said Black Friday is one of my favorite shopping days of the year, especially since I have had children. I store up extra cash for this day. In fact, it tends to complete my shopping for the Christmas season because I pick up gifts early on whenever a good deal arises.

With all this Black Friday love going around I have to say that Gymboree winter coats are my favorite deal every year. I think I picked up four last year. I arrived at Gymboree before anyone else was there (They opened 2 hours earlier than the year before and no one knew). It was so peaceful and quiet at 5am; I could hardly believe my luck. It was amazing to get the first pick of all of their cute designs, and we can all agree that they have adorable clothing. I think that this is my FAVORITE Black Friday story because it is so ironic. We ladies wake up and visit our favorite places expecting to be surrounded by chaos, yet the exact opposite happened for me last year. It was shopping bliss.

I am participating in Infarrantly Creative and Tatertots and Jello’s Blog Hop for a chance to win a Mint Cleaner. It is the revolutionary machine that cleans your hard floor surfaces for you.

Thanksgiving Festivities

Thanksgiving was such an AMAZING event, as always. I love the way my husband barbeques that bird. DELICIOUS!!! Anyway, I decided not to set the table this year, but put the plates and flatware on another table for guests to pick up on their way toward the yummy food buffet.

For the flatware I wrapped them in some eggplant napkins I picked up at Target in the clearance section for 48cents. Yippee!!! Then I placed them in some canning jars I haven't yet put to use. I topped them off with a little bit of twine.

The evening ended well. My husband and our friend Steve played some fun music for us. Steve is such a great banjo player. It is a great instrument that people forget about sometimes.

Christmas Wall Decor

This is my first craft post, and since it is so close to the official Christmas season (I don't truly believe that this starts until Thanksgiving has past), this is a super neat little piece I whipped up as a gift for my friend. Like so many of us she loves birds!

What you need:
Black frame (I picked mine up from the .99 store)
Paper from MyMind'sEye Wonderful Winter paper pack
Green Ribbon (purchased after Christmas last year at Target clearance for 1.50)
Stapler

Directions: Using the Robin/Birdcage paper from the paper pack, I cut it to 8 1/2 x 11, which was the size of my frame. I know it's an odd size for a frame. The paper will work with an 8x10 too. I placed the paper in the frame.

Then I got out my ribbon and measured out to lengthy pieces. I stapled each at an angle in the lower right corner. Then I tied them in a bow. I trimmed the ends into Vs of a desirable length.

Voila! Present done. Less than five minutes. Less than $2 in total products. Super cute!!! I am 2 more sheets of this paper, so I am going to make one for myself, and one to sell on ETSY!!!

ETSY Shop

Okay, so I know that this started out as a party planning business endeavor, and don't get me wrong it still is. However, when I originally came up with this name it was as a crafting and vintage item business idea. That is truly what Rock-N-Regalia means to me. This being said, I would like to invite you to take a look at my ETSY site. I just got it back up and running.

Additionally, this BLOG is going to shift gears; yeah I know it's only two posts in so has a gear even been set yet; and become more of a crafty repurposing BLOG. Now since much of my crafting does revolve around entertaining and party planning in general, that will be encompassed within this new purpose. I think that this will allow me to more fully demonstrate my creative juices. ENOUGH SAID!

Here's a little glimpse of what can be found on my ETSY site.
